Biography

Mr. Zenghui Li is currently a PhD student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University under the joint supervision of Prof. Xinyan Huang and Prof. Jinxia Liu. He received his master’s degree in Resources and Environmental Engineering from Nanjing University in 2026 and his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Guangxi University in 2023. His research focuses on the environmental safety and pollution control of lithium-ion batteries, including pollutant emission and characterization during battery fires and recycling processes, environmental transport and fate modeling, risk assessment, and pollution mitigation.
