Biography
Dr. Yuxuan Tao is currently a Postdoc Fellow at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his Ph.D. degree (2026) from Southeast University, M.Eng. degree (2022) from Hunan University, and B.Eng. degree (2019) from Chang’an University. His research focuses on assessing the resilience of critical infrastructure under multi-hazard scenarios (e.g., earthquakes, fires), including structural performance evaluation and health monitoring, simulation of cascading failures in complex networks, post-earthquake fire emergency response, and fire propagation.
